The first Blended Grain release from Wolfcraig, limited to only 1112 bottles produced.

This composition of sublime grain whiskies has been brought together by two of the most knowledgeable and recognised Master Blenders in the history of Scotch Whisky, Richard Paterson OBE and Ian Macmillan.

To establish this whisky’s character and rarity, Richard and Ian selected highly aged casks from distilleries that are no longer distilling, often referred to as “silent distilleries”.

Choosing to craft this aged grain exclusively from silent distilleries makes this release a true one of a kind whisky, which can never be replicated.

Each Single Grain had been maturing in American White Oak Ex-Bourbon barrels for over 35 years, and composed to become a sum greater than its individual parts, in the Wolfcraig 35 Year Old Blended Grain.

Colour: Satin wood honeyed gold with a lustre of Autumn leaves.

Nose: Warm & inviting, this aged spirit excites your senses as warm hints of peach syrup, caramelised apple , moist lemon sponge cake and a whiff of freshly starched linen seductively engulfs you. This ebullient fusion of succulent pear, banana bread and grapefruit completes this delightful panoply of aromatic pleasure.

Taste: Complex and intriguing, as a multitude of exotic flavours roll over your palate. Age, the many years in the finest bourbon barrels has truly nurtured and tamed this elegant and refine spirit. This is surely destined to delight and reward the connoisseur as layers of marzipan, toffee apple, citrus fruits and frangipan make their presence felt. As these enchanting flavours slowly disperse they are quickly replaced with a finale of grape pulp, lime marmalade, ginger cake drenched in custard and a whisper of Swiss white chocolate. The aftertaste is languorous with a seductive edge.
